Canyon County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #29 (FOP) Golf Tournament Fundraiser
As we all know, law enforcement officers are essential to a civil society. Here in Canyon County, we are blessed with dedicated and professional law enforcement agencies. At the center of our law enforcement agencies is the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO). The dedicated men and women of the CCSO provide security for all of the unincorporated areas of the county and staff the Canyon County Detention Center. These faithful deputies serve and protect us day and night, often facing dangerous and deadly situations.
The monies raised from this year’s tournament will be used for supporting the officers that serve our great community. Previously we have used money to support deputies that have been involved in unprovoked attacks from subjects in custody and others involved in vehicle accidents. We also support the trainings or equipment for K-9, SWAT, CERT (Corrections Emergency Response Team), and Crisis Negotiations teams.
****Disclaimer**** Any competitor competing in the Canyon County FOP golf tournament should act with due regard to safety and public perception. Any actions or behaviors taken that could reflect poorly on the Canyon County FOP is strongly discouraged. If a competitor acts in such a manner, they will be asked to leave the tournament without reimbursement of the tournament registration fee. Additionally, any property damage that occurs during the tournament caused by a competitor’s unsafe actions or gross negligence will not be covered by the Canyon County FOP. The competitor will be responsible for the monetary damages incurred by the property owner.
The 2025 Tournament will be held on Monday, June 30th, 2025 at 9:00 am at The River Club in Boise, Idaho. Follow the link below to register toady. Space is limited and registration will close the Friday before the tournament.
